Most of the conversation at this meeting was around what it means to succeed. Does God bless nations that adhere to the ‘moral code’ described in the Bible? Are the current economic problems in the U.S. linked to moral decline? In other words… if people in the U.S. started acting more religious (prayer back in schools, fewer abortions, and fewer liberals in public office) would God give us our money back?
We didn’t really answer these questions, but the conversation around them…
